after 14 years of residence, i am no longer an "alien" to this country. today i went to CT and got sworn in as a US citizenship along with 56 other people. for some reason i thought it was going to be a much bigger deal. but nonetheless exciting.
i will ponder on what this means to me later when i'm not extremely sleep deprived.
