the case of benjamin button + a lot like love

So I watched the Case of Benjamin Button tonight and after thinking about it for a while I realized that it made me think of A Lot Like Love (a much more light hearted movie starring Ashton Kutcher). I realize this is probably greatly diminishing the artistic work of the directors, writers, producers, actors, etc. of the Case of Benjamin Button and won all of those awards, but this is beside the fact, and please do stay with me as I continue.
The similarity for me was in the renewal and refreshment of significant relationships despite time and distance. I was reminded of how there are people in our lives that are so significant to the course of our lives, and, yet, they come and go. But they always seem to appear again to make us smile, to teach us a lesson, or to just be a much needed friend.
Whether it's the childhood best friend, the first love, the friend who believed in you when you didn't believe in yourself, or whoever else that may be. I can't help but know that I have been so extremely blessed to have all of you in my life. And when you pop back in unexpectedly, or expectedly, I hope that I express how much that your lives mean to me and how without the perfect placement of you at a specific time in my life, I wouldn't be standing where I am, as I am.
