"love is patient..." 1 Corinthians 13:4
i'm sure you've heard this passage...but have you ever thought about the fact that patience is the first characteristic mentioned? this morning this hit me, like a bunch of bricks. i wasn't even reading this passage, but i felt God just tell me...love is patient. i was expecting the rest...but He stopped there.
as i further contemplate this...i do believe that at least for me...i must be more patient.
to truly love my fg, my family, my friends
i must learn to be patient
patient as they navigate life
patient for God to do what He's going to do in them
patient in our relationships as they are molded
love is patient

ahh, patience. something that i've learned that i need so much of. because it's a lot of humbling, being patient.
maybe because it puts us in the right place, with others before us, that patience is the first characteristic of love!
