lessons/thoughts/insights from the summer 2009.

1. I really like honey mustard.
2. I should never complain about my aches and pains because nothing compares to Sickle pain and those kiddos are some of the strongest people I know.
3. I cannot resist buy one get one free deals even if I don't need the item.
4. I am on my computer right before I go to bed and right after I wake up- this will be changed with a 2 hr rule or something starting this school year.
5. I love pictures-instants captured in time that you will have for the rest of your lifetime and beyond.
6. I need to floss more regularly.
7. Micheal Jackson made a tremendous impact on the African American population in the US and I would have never imagined had it not been for my week at camp.
8. I could work with kids every day of the year and that would make my day every day of the year.
9. Women's bible studies are incredible. Older women leading younger women into the Word as mentors in living Godly lives as women of Christ having already passed through this particular part of life is beyond encouraging. I want to pull as much wisdom and knowledge of life, God, and the Bible as I can out of them with the short time I have with them. And being in a group of women who are seeking to know God and dealing with the challenges that come with being a 20 something woman in this world is encouraging, thought-provoking, and extremely blessing.
10. I miss reading for fun- random books to expand knowlege.
11. I have picked up a horrible northern accent when I say certain words that I cannot get rid of.
12. I need to grow up. mature. change. and all of these must be done in the hand of God towards the will of God and only by his perfect plan.
